The Cosmodrome may be the most active launch site in the world, the relics of the Soviet space race, and in particular of the Buran and Energia programs, are still there, abandoned for more than 30 years in huge hangars. You have to travel dozens of kilometers in the steppe, under cover of night, to approach this forbidden zone.
